Terms of service

Effective date: August 2026 · Applies to the Roundhouse public website, waitlist, and private beta

These terms govern your use of the Roundhouse website and, if you receive an invitation, the Roundhouse private beta. By using the site or the service, you agree to them. They’re short because the product is young; they’ll grow up as it does.

1. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist doesn’t create an account or guarantee access. Invitations to the private beta are issued at our discretion, generally as capacity opens up. You agree to provide accurate contact information and to sign up only on your own behalf (or with authorization, on behalf of your organization).

2. The private beta

Roundhouse is pre-release software. That means, candidly:

  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
  • Availability isn’t guaranteed, and scheduled or unscheduled downtime can happen.
  • You shouldn’t rely on the beta as the sole path for critical production workloads.

Beta access is personal to your organization and non-transferable. We may suspend or end beta access at any time; where reasonable, we’ll give notice.

3. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site or the service. In particular, don’t attempt to breach or probe security, disrupt the service or other users, submit unlawful content or workloads, misrepresent who you are, or resell access without our written agreement.

4. Your content and data

Jobs, prompts, and data you submit to the service remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service on that data — to route, execute, meter, and return your jobs — and nothing broader. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

5. Our intellectual property

The Roundhouse software, site, and content are ours or our licensors’, and are protected by law. These terms don’t grant you any rights in them except the right to use the site and, if invited, the beta service.

6. Disclaimers

The site and the beta service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Descriptions of savings on this site are illustrative mechanisms, not promises of results; actual outcomes depend on your workloads, hardware, and configuration.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roundhouse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the site or the beta service. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim — which, during a free beta, may be zero.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material, we’ll update the effective date above and, for beta participants, give notice by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
